I was born and raised in Austin, Texas, where I trusted in Christ at age 18 through the faithful leading of a close friend.  I quickly began growing in my love for the Lord and His word.  It was also during that time when I met my wife Andrea and we were married in 2012.  We are now blessed with four children, Ezra, Eleanor, Emmet and Eric.  Our family loves spending time together doing various activities and watching (just about) any sport.

In my mid 20's, I felt a call towards pastoral ministry and received my theological training from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, where I completed my Master of Divinity.  I have been serving in pastoral ministry since 2016 and joined the pastoral staff of LCF in 2023.  It's my great desire and life's aim to shepherd the people of God through the faithful preaching and teaching of His word.

The story of God’s grace in my life closely parallels the words Paul wrote to Timothy. In 2 Timothy 1:5 Paul says, “I am reminded of your sincere faith, a faith that dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice and now, I am sure, dwells in you as well”. I grew up learning the Scriptures and attending church with my mother and grandmother. Their love for the Lord Jesus and service to him left an indelible impression on me. Through the children’s and youth ministries in my church I came to see my sinfulness and need for salvation through Jesus’ death and resurrection. As a freshmen in high school I came to understand that faith in Christ was more then a one-time decision, it was a call to live under the Lordship of Jesus. Soon after I was baptized and have continued to grow in love for God and knowledge of his Word.

After high school I attended The Master’s University. I met my wife Heather shortly after graduating and have been serving in pastoral ministry since 2003. God has blessed us with three wonderful daughters. Our family loves to get outside and enjoy the beautiful Pacific Northwest, and I am a loyal and hopeful (to a fault) Seattle Sports fan. I joined the pastoral staff of LCF in 2018.
