 Ryan Rust -

Pastor of Preaching & Teaching

I was raised by non-believing parents in Austin, Texas.  I didn't have much contact with the church for the first 18 years of my life.  After graduating from high school my best friend was converted and insisted that I read the book of John with him.  I agreed to and through the process of reading the gospel of John, God saved me.  I then repented of my sinful lifestyle and committed to order my life submitted to the word of God.

I married my wife Andrea at age 20.  Together we have three children and a new one due this September.

I felt the call to ministry during my last semester at Texas State University at the age of 24.  At that time I was a member of First Baptist Church of Elgin, TX.  I began my time serving vocationally at FBC Elgin where I served as a pastoral intern and youth pastor.  During this time I was ordained by the congregation for pastoral ministry.

In 2019 my family relocated to Louiseville, Kentucky to complete my Master of Divinity Studies on campus at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.  We joined Clifton Baptist Church where I served as a pastoral intern.  After graduating from SBTS, I accepted the call to become the Pastor of Discipleship Ministries at Evengelical Fellowship Church in Amarillo, Texas.

Ryan was called to be the Pastor of Preaching and Teaching by the congregation on June 11th, 2023.  We are excited to welcome him and his family and begin worshipping along side them.

Wescott Robinson -

Pastor of Discipleship & Equipping

The story of God’s grace in my life closely parallels the words Paul wrote to Timothy. In 2 Timothy 1:5 Paul says, “I am reminded of your sincere faith, a faith that dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice and now, I am sure, dwells in you as well”. I grew up learning the Scriptures and attending church with my mother and grandmother. Their love for the Lord Jesus and service to him left an indelible impression on me. Through the children’s and youth ministries in my church I came to see my sinfulness and need for salvation through Jesus’ death and resurrection. As a freshmen in high school I came to understand that faith in Christ was more then a one-time decision, it was a call to live under the Lordship of Jesus. Soon after I was baptized and have continued to grow in love for God and knowledge of his Word.

After high school I attended The Master’s University. I met my wife Heather shortly after graduating and have been serving in pastoral ministry since 2003. God has blessed us with three wonderful daughters. Our family loves to get outside and enjoy the beautiful Pacific Northwest, and I am a loyal and hopeful (to a fault) Seattle Sports fan. I joined the pastoral staff of LCF in 2018.
